Moto G Plus 4th Gen Specifications, Price and Review

The Motorola Moto G plus 4th gen was released back in May, 2016. With it’s excellent features it also comes with some best specifications and the brand trust of Motorola that you simply can’t ignore. So let’s take a look.

  • Display and Operating System –

The Moto G 4th gen comes with 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with 16M colors. The screen resolution is 1080×1920 pixels (~401 ppi pixel density). The details are extraordinary and the touch is smooth. With the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 it ensures the safety from the scratches. The smartphone is packed up with the Android 6.0 (marshmallow) which is now upgradable to Android 7.0 (Nougat). Which makes it one of the best competitors of recent launched smartphones.

  • Processing and Storage –

The Moto G Plus 4th Gen is powered by the 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 Octa – Core processor. It has the 550 MHz Adreno 405 as the GPU.  The best thing about the smartphone is that it comes in every budget category, thanks to Motorola who are providing the phone in 3 variants. This beauty is available in 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM and 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM. The built quality is unique, the looks are stylish and the performance is good.

  • Camera and Connectivity –

The Moto G Plus 4th Gen has took a huge leap in the camera section cause it’s packed up with a 16 MP rear camera with phase detection, laser auto focus, geo – tagging, face detection, panorama and auto – HDR. The video quality is excellent as it shoots in 1080p@ 30 fps. The front camera is actually a little bit disappointing as it is just 5 MP. It seems like the company has put the goods of front camera in the rear but still complaining about it is difficult because the front camera is still the best in class. The smartphone has all the needing and expected connectivity features. It is equipped with WLAN wi-fi, hotspot and bluetooth v 4.1. The phone also has the GSM, EDGE, 4G and LTE support.

  • Battery and special features –

It has the battery power of 3000 mAh. We can’t say that’s so good but it is enough for a decent use for a day. The battery is non-removable. The considerable thing about battery is the turbo charging, so it just gets 4-5 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging. The smartphone has equipped with a figerprint scanner (front mounted). The camera has PDAF as well as professional modes and the front camera has display flash.  The sound mic has auto noise cancellation. The smartphone also has the OTG cable support. The memory card slot is expandable upto 128 GB and that too is dedicated.
